How We Work

A clear process.
No guesswork.

We've refined our delivery process over 50+ projects and 8+ years. Every phase is designed to give you visibility, control and confidence — from first conversation to post-launch support.

How every
project unfolds

Each phase has a clear output, a clear decision point, and your approval before we move on. You only commit to the next stage when you're satisfied with the last.

01
Week 1–2

Discovery & Research

We start by understanding everything: your business model, your target users, your market, your competitors, and your constraints. We ask the hard questions before a single screen is designed or a line of code is written.

Stakeholder workshops

Deep-dive sessions with your team to align on goals, priorities and success metrics.

Market & compliance research

We map the competitive landscape and flag any regulatory requirements (GDPR, accessibility, payments).

Scope & estimate

A detailed scope document and phased cost estimate — no hidden fees, no surprises later.

02
Week 2–4

Strategy & Design

Before any code, we design every screen you'll use. User journeys, wireframes and high-fidelity designs — all reviewed and approved by you before development begins. This eliminates expensive rework later.

User journey mapping

We diagram every path a user takes through your product, ensuring no dead ends.

Wireframes →︎ hi-fi designs

Iterative design from rough wireframes to pixel-perfect, handoff-ready screens in Figma.

Design system

A reusable component library built alongside the designs — speeds up development significantly.

03
Ongoing sprints

Build

Agile two-week sprints with weekly demos. You see the product being built in real time — not just at the end. A private staging environment means you can test every feature as it's completed.

2-week sprints

Each sprint delivers working, tested features. You review and give feedback every fortnight.

Weekly video updates

Short Loom walkthroughs keeping you fully informed — no need for daily check-ins.

Staging environment

Live preview of your product throughout development. See it working before it goes live.

04
Final 2 weeks

Test & Launch

A thorough QA phase covering functional testing, performance benchmarking, security checks and — for mobile apps — full app store submission. We don't consider something done until it works on every device, in every scenario.

Automated & manual QA

End-to-end test suites covering all user flows, edge cases and error states.

Performance & security

Load testing, OWASP security audit and Lighthouse performance scoring before go-live.

Launch support

We're available during launch day — monitoring, fixing anything that comes up in real time.

05
Ongoing

Grow

Launch is the beginning, not the end. We offer ongoing retainers, feature development sprints, performance monitoring and analytics review. We stay on as your technology partner — evolving the product as your business scales.

Monthly retainers

Dedicated hours each month for bugs, features, updates and technical consultancy.

Analytics & reporting

Monthly product health reports covering performance, user behaviour and technical debt.

Feature roadmap support

We help prioritise what to build next, based on data and user feedback — not just gut instinct.

Tools we use
every day

Tried, tested and trusted. Every tool in our stack is chosen for reliability, performance and longevity.

Common
questions

Everything you'd want to know before kicking off a project with us.

It depends on scope. An MVP typically takes 8–14 weeks from discovery to launch. A full-featured platform can be 16–24 weeks. We'll give you a detailed timeline in our scope document after the discovery phase.

We work on a fixed-price, phased basis. Each phase is scoped and priced before you commit to it. You're never locked in beyond the current phase. For ongoing work, we offer monthly retainers with dedicated hours.

Absolutely. We're happy to sign an NDA before any detailed discussions. Confidentiality is standard practice for us — your idea is yours.

You do. Upon final payment, all intellectual property, source code, designs and assets transfer fully to you. No strings attached, no licensing fees, no lock-in.

Yes, and we do it often. We can work alongside your internal developers, augmenting capacity or bringing in specialist skills (mobile, design, QA) that you don't have in-house.

Yes. Every project includes 30 days of free post-launch bug support. Beyond that, we offer flexible monthly retainers for ongoing maintenance, feature development and monitoring.
